A reminder this Saturday June 27th from 5-8 I will be heading to the west coast for my show at Stem in San Francisco. I have only been through the airport so I cannot wait to take in the beautiful city. Hope to see you there!
My love for photographing mannequins started with this photo that I saw in 2007 from Carol Watson I have quite a few that I have yet to do anything with yet, but I found this girl in NYC an loved that she was my bald one arm mannequin that I have had on my banner for awhile now. I get so much strong emotion from their expressions more so than photographing humans at times, weird, but another great thing is they do not move and sit still when you want a shot. ;)
"Happy Fathers Day to everyone lucky enough to have or to be a Father ...sure, sugar daddies count. why not" Via lovemaegan. Well said Maegan, cracked me up.
While at Charles Nolan, I couldn't help but have my eye on a few items for myself like this Francisca bag that is actually made from recycled aluminum pull tabs. How cool is that, cannot wait.
*Don't forget to enter the giveaway below for a new area rug!

So many wonderful people I want to thank for the "Lady" show in New York June 13th. Everyone at Charles Nolan especially Linda for your help and hosting the show for us. Dallas,Christina and Samantha I am so glad to have met such wonderful talented ladies. And all the support to those that took the time to come out and check out the show. New friendships definitely made along the way. Thank you to Whimpsey & Spice for such tasty treats that you supplied for our guests and last but not least the servers that made sure every guest was taken care of.
It was also my Birthday that night, what a perfect way to celebrate :)
Linda from Charles Nolan & I looking at a necklace I must have. Christina, Samantha & Dallas with their wonderful significant others Joanna Goddard and I Monica Shulman and I "Push" and the original "Lanvin 01" that was on the cover of Dujour Magazine
I love those NYC taxis, maybe because when I was younger I was a huge fan of the show Taxi and also being a fan of Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver I definitely took advantage of those shots while in the city. I was even telling my friend Aaron "Is it possible to take one home as a souvenir ;) He was wonderful and surprised me with a small old school checkered one to take home. Thanks Aaron!
I will probably be doing a fun series of those along with the other photos I took so watch for more.
I have so many wonderful people to thank for the show and will be posting all of that shortly as well. In the meantime open edition prints will be available in my Etsy shop.
I am back from NY and ready to share some photos soon with thoughts of an amazing show at Charles Nolan. It was so great to meet all of you that came, but first tonight I am going to get my bags unpacked and try to catch up on a few things before work starts back up for me tomorrow. I think I took near 700 photos of NYC wow! and now working on about an hour of sleep so I promise to get back with everyone quickly after I refresh.
Thank you for your amazing support and stopping by the show :)
Photo: unknown The Lady show in New York is not until this Saturday June 13th, but I will be leaving Denver this Thursday to get ready for the show and to also enjoy the amazing city. Cannot wait to meet so many of you!
See you there!! xo

Photo: vlad eftenie This photo is so touching, they look like they have to say goodbye sadly, but what keeps my interest more are those bottles and cans to the side of them as well. I cannot help but want to figure their story out.
