lena horne, what a loss. she was beautiful in so many ways. this past summer, she was on cape cod where i live, eating on the second floor of a restaurant i was eating in and i so wished i could have seen her, but we were told she was in a very private setting, wanting to just be lena horne the person, and enjoy her food. good for her!
Mhmm, the Nouvelle Vague song reminds me of when I saw them perform here in my hometown. Great concert, the air was electrified with the girls' energy and the band's musicians are all extremely talented. After the show I even managed to get an autograph!
