Some Modern English and inspiration for the weekend. I have been listening to my Depeche Mode Pandora station all week and can never get enough of my 80's. But a long weekend is ahead and I will have many more creative things to share with you that I have been working on behind the scenes. What are your plans for the long weekend?
This is another new beginnings weekend for me and an official end of summer as well. I am sure it has all to do with the fact as a child I would start school after this Labor Day weekend. I have an inner urge to reflect from my year thus far, make a few changes, (get back in shape again).....ahem, yes I seem to have that conversation with myself at least once a month.
I also was feeling just overwhelmed this past few days and decided to stop everything I was doing. I stopped my many to do's until the next day, turned off my computer and turned on the Netflix, took a nap and woke up feeling the same really, so after everyone went to sleep, I stayed up and took my forgotten journal outside on a warm night with candle light only, a glass of wine and began the writing of almost 5 pages front and back. Well to make a long story short it was the trick, the answer to calming me down and starting fresh the next day. Just getting those running thoughts out is needed. I also discovered a few things about why I was feeling overwhelmed. There really is nothing better then writing freely for yourself and knowing that no one has to read it, once you realize that, honestly can fill the page.

Beautifully said. I think sometimes artists have so many ways to express themselves, new outlets are refreshing yet not expected.
This weekend is packed. Going to a birthday party, baby shower, and another birthday party at a winery.
