oops!

As I sternly explain to my daughter to keep drinks away from Mommies Mac and tell her how if milk spills near it it could ruin and cost mommy lots of money, five minutes later I spill my tea on the keyboard. Goes to show follow and live by the rules you explain to others lol.

oh man...I'm sorry. I had a cat once that constantly ruined keyboards until I finally learned not to have drinks near my computer.

Glad it's still working, Leigh! I had to dry out my cell phone a few months ago :)

Oh dear, I recall my daughter did this once too. It's the risks we take but I too drink my tea or coffee while at the computer. You are showing her by example, look at it that way. Hope the Mac is all ok!!

ohno! happy it's working! I always tell my husband to be careful when he brings a drink to the office...I decided I couldn't take the stress so I added a side table next to the desk for food and drink. I'm the clumsiest girl in the world so it's mostly for me...

Nothing got ruined thankfully, just a sticky shift key still.

Well, trust me: you're happy it was your tea and not her milk! I spilled milk into my keyboard about 4 minutes after setting it up... and it was unusable shortly thereafter.

I had to get help from the IT dude at work the next day. We disassembled the whole thing, wiped down EVERY key and all the plastic sheets and all the nuts and bolts... with a warm damp cloth.

Five years later, keyboard's still cool... but it was a horrible sticky stinky mess at the time :(

mchen-Oh no, I am so glad it was not the milk, what a pain. Sorry you had to go through that, but thankfully you had an IT there to help.
