"She was already thinking of herself as a kind of ex-patriot. Not smothered by what she believed to be America's puritanical and materialistic culture which she had little patience for. She saw herself more a European soul, in tune with the thinkers and artists she felt expressed her tragic, romantic free thinking view of life".
Angelina was superb, she had me in tears quite a bit in this film. Fantastic.

oh yes, i did hear VCB was a very good movie... i may have to wait until it comes out on cable though.
I want to see both but it will be when they are rentals. And I'm of the school that I really don't like Angelina's acting.
I really want to see the Angelina Jolie one.
Hope you had a great weekend Leigh :-)
I just rented Vicky Christina Barcelona. Loved it. That's a great line that you posted. She's such a free spirit in this film.
I've been meaning to see both of these and now you've inspired me to do it sooner rather than later. Thanks!!
looked for BOTH of these last week at redbox--not in. must re-check.
P.S. There's an award waiting for you over at Kosmopolight :)

I LOVED "Vicky Cristina Barcelona!" Great pick... But I've been too scared to watch "Changeling" - I just had my new little son about 5 months ago and I fear that this movie would be too heartbreaking?? Love Angelina though.
I haven't seen The Changeling yet, but VCB was an excellent film -- entertaining from the first second to the very last!
I have seen both movies last week and I think they are fantastic! You just picked the best ones. Thanks.
