While under the flu influence

Photo Via ~ Ewa-Marie Rundquist.

Thank you all so much for your sweet comments, while still recovering from this flu I have caught up on a ton of reading and as you can see from my look of the day wednesday, inspiration from my hours of finally catching up on season three of Mad Men. I also wish I could crotchet as I had an idea to make a ton of arm warmers (as in leg warmers for the arms) I saw an editorial somewhere upon my piles and thought how perfect would those be this winter.. (I think it was Donna Karen) She had something simular but they were long cashmere gloves, not sure, but I do know I will give it a go with the sewing machine.

Here also is a fantastic coffee table book to add to your collections, Juergen Teller's collaboration with Marc Jacobs which all began in 1998 with the lovely Sofia Coppola. It is available in hardcover here. If you find the soft cover let me know :) More my price range!

Cannot wait to catch up with everyone! xo

Hope you feel better soon! Love the first pic, but I can guarantee I don't look that chic when I'm ill ;-) I love the look of the MJ book, but I too would prefer a soft cover version.

I've been searching for a perfect pair of arm warmers for a while by the way. I saw some cute ones by a Scandinavian label a while ago and I'm kicking myself for not picking those up. I think they're quite practical and a great way of adapting your summer wardrobe to suit winter temperatures!

What a fun coffee table book!
I've been wanting to learn how to crochet for some time now. Need to somehow fit it in with all my other time consuming hobbies :)
Have a great day!

Your banner still strikes me deep and warm every time I spy it.

Be well: "Kill it with a skillet"...
means eating foods to kill the cold.

Fresh grated ginger, fresh squeezed lemon, honey(or agave), and add a dash a boiling water. Down the cup and chase it with anything you want.
You can also add fresh garlic if you dare to do it right.

Indoor Absinth Winter Wonderland! That first picture is enough to cheer anyone up after a big, bad cold. And Juergen Teller + Sophia Coppola can never be a bad thing.

Sometimes being sick is really the only opportunity you get to do things that are truly fun to you. Oh the irony... Hope you're feeling better!
