Julia Child's Beef Bourguignon




After currently watching Julie & Julia I am officially determined to try one of the more challenging recipes of Julia Child, the Beef Bourguignon!! You can get a great review and the recipe from Catherine over at Fish and Veggies.

Yep, I'm hungry now. I wasn't a huge fan of the movie but I absolutely loved the Julia plotline with her husband. So sweet!

I guess we should all make a Julia Child recipe once in our life, but you are smart to not try it without your bestie by your side.

I had the same desire to make that dish after seeing it in theaters. Never got around to it...

i FINALLY watched j&j on friday and loved it! i wondered if meryl and julia would live up to all the hype--and she totally did! i sort of thought they did a disservice to julie by downplaying her sassiness, though.

can't wait to hear how you make out with this recipe!

i made seth watch the film and we were both so hungry! i'm trying to brain wash him into "cooking something new every evening" but it's not working... "julie" did everything by herself, i would think i need an assistant or something to pull that off... keep us updated on when you make this dish! i'm excited to hear your cooking adventure :)
