Marked for Inspiration

Love this editorial of Abbey Lee Kershaw in i-D and the artistic style of Holbein The Younger's Portrait of Dorothea Meyer. Definitely on my list to inspire from this week. In the meantime, I am finishing up another illustration that I hope to have finished today and baking cupcakes for my daughters school, (and a few for home that I will try not to eat too many of ) :P

I am so looking forward to this inspiration's outcome and curious about the current one you are cooking : ) I found out that you have a daughter from this post. How sweet cooking cupcakes for her : )

Hmmm... the fact that you mentioned your art and cupcakes in the same sentence almost made me wish for some cupcake art. You could make it cool and not cheesy I bet.

I agree with dancing branflake! Although, cupcakes is so not your style... of art, that is! haha. LOVE that twiggy-esque shot of Abbey. I love the illustration. her eyes are distant and the piece speaks a lot.

Nice inspiration!
