"Before Midnight and Broken Wild"

© Leigh Viner 2007-2011

Etsy

Hi everyone! I have been updating a few older pieces I did back in 2007 both based on the photography of Aneta Kowalczyk. She inspires me greatly and I have done quite a few based on her work. I found these two from the archives and decided to turn them into prints for you to enjoy as well. I am also happy to say that the Original, the 2nd Piece will be up for auction for Bloggers Give Back, 100% of profits going to charity, you can learn more about it here. And a very special thanks to Christine from Bijou and Boheme for getting me on board. I will have the link up for that auction as soon as it starts.

*Don't forget to enter my latest giveaway with Shabby Apple Here. Will be choosing a winner this Friday.

The first one "Before Midnight" was a painting I did back in 2007, more of a fine art piece on large canvas.
The Second "Broken Wild" is an illustration

wow girl you are soooo so talented... i'm loving that painting- the composition, contrast, and underlying darkness... to me it tells a story... like i wonder what she thinks when she looks in the mirror. does she have a secret?

it's just fabulous.

and that illustration is to die for... love the model's eyes and pose.

stunning stuff as always! :)

Leigh... So, your work is beautiful. Honestly just stunning. I love this, I wonder how you were able to hear of this? I am a designer/artist from the lovely DENVER as well! Cheesman Park mean anything to you? Cap hill... Wash park? I love seeing such talent from my home city. I wish I could have seen a showing of yours while I was there! I just moved this summer for a design job in Santa Monica. But I will miss our colorado summers, and sometimes, the snow.

I LOVE BROKEN WILD!

There is something to the whiteness, the cool black, the expression, the look/stare.
