Dress- H&M, Booties and Sunglasses - Elizabeth and James, Tights- Banana Republic, Necklace and Bunny Ears unknown.

Lace bunny ears and a spider necklace worn after trying on a few looks that next years Halloween will have my attention and effort. The focus was more on getting the house and the kids, well and Jim ready (he always beats me on costume attention and effort), which I actually enjoy. Also somehow we have become the "house" all of the kids want to visit. Jim has set it up so well that a few kids came with shaking voices while asking for candy and a few others telling us that our house was the house they couldn't wait to visit, best compliment ever!

All and all, this year was a bit emotional for me as I am watching my daughter grow so fast and with her finishing up her last year of elementary to enter middle school marks the end of school Halloween class parties and all of those details of being my sweet little baby girl to now growing into her own independent self more and more each day. Not to mention the second she turned 10 this year, I went from being a really cool Mom to, "Mom your such a dork" Mom, fabulous! That must mean I am really cool, right?

Hope your all having a wonderful weekend xo

Halloween 2013

 photo Halloween2013LeighVinerblog_zps3bf9d1ce.jpg

Just one of the many mini pumpkins popping up around my home to celebrate Halloween. I am in love with this holiday, but this year I have waited until the very last minute to prepare everything! Hopefully I will pull it off and have the costume that will magically come together by tomorrow night.

Have a wonderful Halloween everyone! xo

Happy Halloween 2012

Photobucket {Tank- Zadig Voltaire, Pants- Helmut Lang, Shoes- Alexander Wang}

Finishing up the outside halloween decor with my skull makeup, yet to figure out the night time full look, but Zadig Voltaire's cashmere skull tank seemed appropriate for the warm weather during the daytime of course. For music here is a little Skinny Puppy to set the mood as well.

Have a safe and fun Halloween everyone! xo

Keeping it Simple

I think I found exactly what I want to be this year and inspired by Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock of Vena Cava's sketch of a simple sexy ghost that I found here.

Might change my mind, but so far it feels right and maybe I will top it off with my lace bunny ears. ??

Happy Halloween xo

Halloween at Home

Martha Stewart Bat Mobile, directions here

Last but not least, these were so fun to make, Graveyard Ghosts from Martha Stewart found here

I have been going crazy this year with the decor for Halloween. I usually put up a candle and a few pumpkins, but with my daughter turning 8 this year I have decided to go a little bit further. I have to thank Martha Stewart for the inspiration and going for more DIY ideas then spending money. I could share more but I think you get the idea. Now a last minute costume idea?? Still have no clue what to wear/be. But I will share next week as well of course.

Have a wonderful safe Halloween everyone xo

Cuts you up

How perfect would these Giuseppe Zanotti boots be for halloween. Via ~ fashion roadkill.

Have a fantastic time and bring back all of your adventures. I have yet to put something together, am very last minute with the storm that blew into Denver and locked me inside for a few days, so off to see what I can come up with..
