To Tuck or Untuck - & How to Achieve the Perfect Brow

Not sure if most of you know, but I used to be a professional freelance Makeup Artist and Esthetician for almost a decade before I decided it just was not fulfilling my heart as a career to which I then decided to pursue my art full time. (yay for following my gut) I wanted more creative control I suppose but am blessed and happy that I did get to work in that industry as well as I feel it put so much influence into where I am now with my art and photography. I learned so much from the photographers, especially lighting that I didn't in school and just the ideas that were focused on when putting together a photoshoot. So in regards I wanted to show you this wonderful eyebrow tutorial from Anastasia who is based in Beverly Hills.
Anastasia has long been the definitive eye and brow expert for icons such as Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Oprah as well as hip up-and-comers like Diana Agron, Selena Gomez and Kristen Cavalari and has recently expanded into colors that match their superior standards for skincare based cosmetics.

I was professionally trained to shape eyebrows for clients, but she has this amazing kit that I think is just wonderful if you want the perfect brows. Take a look and you can buy her products here for yourself.

A Night Out With Ann Taylor

Last night I attended a private event for Ann Taylor to celebrate their second concept store opening up here in Denver. An extremely warm day so simplicity is what I was looking for as the party was to be held on the pool terrace of the Four Seasons which also recently is new, so curious to check out both and stay as cool as possible in a strapless Greylin dress. I was really drawn to their outerwear for fall, especially the canvas trench that was heavier then most and would work well for the cold winters I endure here without feeling like I am in extra bulk walking out the door. A few touches of gold and animal print that also drew me in that would harmonize with their well tailored basics.
After the party we headed across the street to stuff our faces in the most polite sort of way of course.

Let It Will Be

Hi everyone, hope the week is going well, I am crawling out of a funk that I have been in for a few days, not even sure why or where it comes from, but I am a true Gemini in that sense. And just glad it is over! (Apologies to all those that were around me and had to deal) ;) So moving on to a good day of course and some Missoni!



I am sure you have heard by now that Missoni is collaborating with Target, I am beyond excited, and a ton to pick from (400 items) in total, yikes!! It all begins September 13th in stores and online. Here are just a few items that I am craving for myself and my daughter of course and cannot wait to look at the clothing in separate form as I am not the type to dress head to toe Missoni, but love to add a touch of it here and there.

Hello Weekend! And My Bergdorfs Instagram obsession

Happy weekend lovelies! xo What are your plans? I am looking forward to reading a ton, sleeping in and maybe fitting in a pig roast ;)

I actually just finished up this week on a project that I am super excited about for Creem Magazine that involves the fabulous boutiques of Colette, Browns of London, Opening Ceremony and 10 Corso Como. that should be coming out in September so cannot wait to share.

A Smoothy to Smooth The Day? & Fall Transitional Picks.

Hello everyone,

An effortless and comfortable outfit to keep me cool from the 100 degree heat and a sweater to throw on while drawing away in my office with the swamp cooler. I also hope the rest of the morning goes smoother then the start of the day. I was faced with a large traffic jam this morning while getting my little one off to school. All of the lights went out and caused a complete stop to all of us trying to get somewhere. My poor baby then ends up late to school and with a tardy stamp. I should of asked if I could be stamped as well it was not really her fault. awww.

Well even though it is still hot as ever out, I have Fall on my mind and wanted to share with you some of my absolute favorite transitional pieces that would help as the evenings get cooler and layering becomes more important, and the bag has no importance to weather, but well it just is one of those musts as the season changes, right? ;)
