Mending Rapture

A feel good, (because the sun finally came out ) and a bit of a lazy Sunday with work involved, if that makes much sense, but doing everything today at a snails pace. Closing up last weeks projects and to do's in order to feel refreshed for Monday. I will say that the only obstacle as of late really is the suffering of seasonal allergies, the worst. Never had them until this past few years, any tips and tricks to ease the suffering are most definitely welcome.

I love the fresh start a New Year brings, this past few days though it’s finally feeling that way, as the beginning of the week was still a bit stressful, but I am more then excited to start on my many goals I have written for the days, weeks and months ahead.

Warm weekend weather and a few hours in the studio finishing up this piece from last week. I have such a fun variety that I will be sharing this next few weeks from what I have been working on. Just beyond happy to be back in my studio full time after a hectic but amazing summer. Now off to put up some Halloween decorations, which I am sure will be posted on snapchat and instagram stories.

Happy weekend everyone! I am unfortunately starting mine off with a lingering bug of some sort,.. ugh, but as long as I take things slow and go and maybe nap here and there it's not so bad.
In the meantime, I have a few pieces of new art from this week that I worked on between some commissions, starting with this piece, "Citrine" inspired by Celine's Fall editorial in T-Magazine.

I hope everyone enjoyed Mother's Day yesterday! I had such a wonderful day, not doing much and being spoiled with some new planted flowers that I hope to make last all summer.

Version 1 of 2 of this piece I have been working on this week and hope to have the 2nd version up by the end of this weekend as well. It was one of those times I wanted to continue with various media, but liked the direction and look of it before I pulled out the oil paints. I can seriously freeze with an abundance of inspiration and directions I want to experiment with sometimes, so be it, diving into any and all that is calling. ;)

New this week titled "Circle" inspired by Kendall Jenner in the 2015 May issue of Harper's Bazaar. I posted a tiny corner of it during the process on Snapchat to which it already sold yesturday, :) but I will get this print version up soon in my shop.
