Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Wanted to share with you a recent illustration I did for the September issue of COMPANY Magazine UK. for their September issue. One of my wonderful muses Liz Vranesh was the model for this project.

She is amazing and I cannot thank her enough for helping me out on so many various projects that I have worked on with her. Thank you dear Liz!!

In other news, I have been enjoying the last of the warmer days as we settle into fall, attending RiotFest here in Denver, just getting out a bit more in general. I know I have said this a million times, but working and living in the same space, I need a break from home sometimes and knowing that the cold months are just ahead, taking advantage as much as possible.

Refreshed this week and looking forward to spending some good solid hours in the studio. I have more ideas then time, but just diving in and enjoying the process of what is to come is what I need.

DIY Inspiration Board Complete,

Feeling in the DIY mode this past weekend, I also jumped onto the project I have been wanting to get to since January of this year. Finally did and then laughed as it only took me under an hour to complete from start to finish. (if you already have the materials)

But the board is complete and ready for an interchanging of inspiration each week. It sits in what I call my Parisian corner of my home office, still in progress but eventually I will show the entirety of where I spend most of my day.
You can get all of the how's and materials if you want to create one yourself as well from Alaina over at her blog, Live Creating Yourself.

Also head over today to Glitter Guide for a feature on the fabulous Nicolette Mason on how she got her start as a fashion writer, her love for all things glittery and girly and a tour of her beautiful fashionable home in Brooklyn NY. (which has a few of my prints on the wall and makes me happy :) Thank you Nicolette and btw adore you and all of that Miu Miu !! :)

The magazine will be available at Barnes and Noble on December 7th and various other magazine stands throughout the US.

It was an honor to work with you again Jenn and all involved, thank you for getting me on board!!

NU-MODE' Magazine Feature and Film love

Hi everyone, I hope your having a wonderful Tuesday :) I am back from my mini getaway and amazed at how much it is needed every time I step away. I honestly do not take many breaks at home because well I love what I do and I can have a hard time stopping unless needed, but I can accomplish more coming back in 1 day then in 3, so yes definitely something I will do more of I believe! ;)

Art in Times Square

As I am behind the scenes editing photos today, I wanted to share this quick video featuring my art for Unicef's Celebrity Tap Project in Times Square, blew me away and wish I could be there in person to check it out! One of those amazing moments that pauses my day and reminds me that I am living my dream and all the hard work can payoff with determination and following your heart. I also get quite a few e-mails from art students asking me how to get the point I am at, and to which I always reply, (NEVER give up on what you love!) I cannot tell you how many times I almost did, and looking back I just continued to push myself daily and remind myself to never stop no matter what, no matter how broke I was no matter what negative things were said about my career not being a (REAL) career.

But the utmost important is the appreciation I have from every one of you for your support daily, whether it be family, friends or my fans, I could not do it without you!

Merci Beaucoup xoxox

Leather, Waldo and Winter Skies

I received an e-mail from Anastasiya Komarova the lovely designer behind forms- id and my newest obsession, these (want them all) textured leather clutches are amazing. I honestly cannot choose my favorite, but I did want to share them with you as well.. Also these photos of the sky this morning and late afternoon I took on a whim and just happy I lug my camera around with me like a third leg.. It is a true ice cold winter wonderland out, but at least the sun is shining.

**last note, I finally was able to catch 2 of the 4 prints of mine that are on Set of ABC's Better With You last week. In all honesty I should just e-mail the set director who places them and bought them as I feel like I am in Where's Waldo mode while watching and trying to find them.. Either way love the show and am so appreciative that they are there in the first place ;)

Happy Tuesday everyone! xo

AfroChic: Fall Collection

I have been excited for awhile to see what the wonderful Jeanine Hays, founder of AfroChic has had up her sleeves for the new Fall collection. The wait is over as of today it has been launched.

She has included new textiles from wallpaper to new pillows, table linens and organic shower curtains. This season I was excited to see Brooklyn based artist Samantha Hahn and her work on a few of the pieces, especially the pillows (want). I had a group exhibition along with her, Dallas Shaw and Christina Entcheva last summer at Charles Nolan in NYC.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Jeanine Hays while showing my work in San Francisco. J'adore all you talented ladies!

Head over to see for yourself some more of the new collection here. I have a few favorites definitely on my wish list.

And last but not least a BIG thank you to Jeanine for including 2 of my illustrations in the new Fall catalog xo
