I will be sharing quite a few new illustrations this next few weeks as I have many that need to be done this month for various clients, 1 being this for The Hub Magazine titled "Inquire". Not 100% this one will make the final cut, but regardless it is available in my Etsy shop.

Last days of summer

This photo is a good representative of how I feel with it being the last weekend in August. Almost a saying goodbye to my summer light, not a bad thing, but the first of September always marks the end of summer for me. I am ready for an amazing fall season though with great projects that I am involved in, a trip to LA, and looking back at a wonderful summer that (still is) to take advantage of.

The Knife - The Captain

Shear comfort

Keeping it simple this week with one of my favorite lightweight dresses, it has these wonderful slit arms that are open to let in the cool breeze, I ran out of time to show more photos, so I will try to add more this week, but in the meantime a great week was had and I hope yours was just as wonderful. Happy weekend everyone! What are you up too? I am thinking of heading out for a little tonight, hopefully, it never fails when getting back from a trip that I get antsy and decide that I cannot fully dive into normal schedule just yet. Was getting used to the spontaneity while away. Also miss the beach so much! I appreciate the vast mountains I have here in Colorado, but honestly, I am not really a mountain girl, I have tried trust me to hike, ski, snowboard, but would rather take a walk near the lake or ocean.. Maybe it was my first kiss in La Jolla on a boat that did it for me when I was young.

Just got back to Denver from my trip to Miami tonight and thought I would share a quick few photos before I head to bed and resume a normal schedule tomorrow.

The top photo represents one my favorite parts of the trip which was sitting on the beach at night. I used the light from all of the hotels behind to capture this photo in the dark with long exposure. Loved how it turned out! I will start listing a few new prints in my shop starting tomorrow.

It was such a relaxing trip. Hope you all had a great week too!! xo

Hello my friends, did you have a good weekend?

I took a break today from doing an outfit post as I was pretty much wearing your basic of basics, a tee and shorts due to cleaning and going to the store, (exciting, I know) ;) I also grabbed the old awful rain jacket (same as photo) heading out the door in the rain..Oh but every time I do wear it I cannot help but think of walking in the rain in Paris dorking out with my hood on ...I miss it so..

I also managed to sketch two illustrations for you. One I will share today and the 2nd this week. Also am working on a larger painting which I hope to be done before my trip to Miami..

In love (inspired. in awe) with these photos from Finnish label Gilles Et Dada. What more can I say, they speak for themselves.....Amazing!

Hope your week is going well, I am excited as I just booked tickets to Miami (never been) for some R&R and endless snaps with my camera.. Oh cannot wait! and yes every time I say Miami, cannot help but think of this song...lol

Looking down for the most part.

Hello lovlies, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. What were your plans ?

I had a great week, my good friend and I are motivating each other to stick with a workout routine and running together at least 3 times a week, always have done that alone and must say it is so helpful to stick with it when you have someone by your side. It also gave a good excuse to stuff face with Surf and Turf tonight with some good friends :P This week though I am at least marking out one day to veg on the couch to catch up on some HBO shows that I am completely addicted too, (True Blood, Hung, etc) that I have missed the last three weeks.. Yes, life is all about moderation xo
