Hello lovlies! I hope your having a wonderful weekend.
I have been taking advantage of getting outside and getting dirty by cleaning up the garden. I forget how much work it really takes, or the bugs and the dead pokey rose branches that certainly know how to protect themselves, Sh*t those hurt ;) But well worth the effort when it all comes together.

I am also getting ready for the last week of school before summer vacation begins for my daughter. An emotional week ahead as she finishes up her elementary education and now will be heading into middle school in the Fall. I have said it a million times, but seriously where did the time go!!!

Aurora Tower's St John Home

Photos Champagne and Heels

Browsing the July issue of Elle I came across an Elle Living feature with a client of mine, Aurora Tower. She is such a sweet genuine person and was so wonderful to work with. Here is just 1 of the commissions I did of her below.

She bought and refurbished the home on St. John Island in 2005 and built it to be as green as possible, buying locally and using earth friendly suppliers and materials. She is currently living in NYC and using the home a few times a year, but here is the fantastic part, you can rent out this beauty for a vacation yourself. (thinking of that myself) on Jetsetter. You can learn more about Aurora on her website here. Congrats Aurora!

Weekend Randomness

Hi everyone, I hope your having a wonderful weekend. I have been using all of my free time to start a series of oil paintings inspired by the photography of Paolo Roversi. (completely in love with his work is an understatement) But here is the piece of his that I will be using for the first one. Cannot wait to show you.

Also while browsing Song of Style's blog for the look of the week, I caught the gorgeous townhome of Jenna Lyon of J.Crew and couldn't help but wonder where I could come up with a quick 3.75 million... The window seating alone has sold me..

Just keep working ( someday Leigh, someday) ;)

Last but not least, enjoy the moment..

Aprochic opens shop!!

I met the wonderful Jeanine Hays a few months ago while in San Francisco for my art show, and have been anticipating the launch of her line for a few months.
Thank you to Jen from MadeByGirl for reminding me that it is live :) Head on over to view the fantastic collection here~ Aphrochic. ( I am definitely wanting that Haze Mimosa pillow in the last photo)!

And if you are in the Philadelphia area this Saturday October 10th, join her to celebrate the launch of her line of sustainable pillows and apparel at DesignPhiladelphia. The party begins at Design Within Reach with cocktails and a yummy soulfood-inspired dessert bar to celebrate the new line. Here is her fantastic inspirational blog as well. Congrats Jeanine!!!

Weekend Project

A cheap easy weekend project. Even better I love how the chalkboard paint was just slapped on in the second photo, done! Now the fun part, which wall?

Have a great weekend xo
